New plaything for billionaires : a $180million corporate jet

The idea that the latest Airbus super-Jumbo, which does not enter airline service until this autumn, will become a billionaire’s plaything seems extraordinary. But by Airbus calculations, there are about 20 Boeing 747 jumbos in private use around the world, and maybe a quarter of the owners will replace them with the bigger Airbus rival.
