Israeli company buys into Las Vegas

Africa Israel Investments, an Israeli company controlled by the diamond billionaire Lev Leviev, agreed to buy, with its partners, a parcel of land in Las Vegas near the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino for $625 million.Africa Israel will have a 49 percent share in the “mega-project,” while its partners, which include the New York real estate investor Steven Witkoff, the Cipriani family and the Credit Suisse Group, will share the remainder, the company said Sunday.
