Billionaire loans shark to The Met

Self-made billionaire hedge fund investor Steven A. Cohen, whose office resides in Stamford, has agreed to loan his 13-foot tiger shark preserved in a glass tank of formaldehyde to The Metropolitan Museum of Art.

The shark is a creation of British artist Damien Hirst. His work will be on display for a three-year period starting Labor Day weekend.

Cohen, who according to Forbes has an estimated $3 billion fortune and is the 85th richest American.
