Ross to Decide Soon on Insurer Investment

Billionaire Investor Wilbur Ross said Tuesday he will make a decision on whether to invest $1 billion or more in a bond insurer within “the next few weeks.”

In an interview on CNBC’s “Squawk Box,” Ross said he is not limiting his decision to Ambac Financial Group , the second-largest bond insurer.  We’re looking at several of the credit insurers and we hope to come to a conclusion, one way or another, very shortly,” Ross said, noting he’d signed confidentiality agreements with several.
