Lampert again raises AutoNation stake

Billionaire investor Edward Lampert has acquired an additional 631,100 shares of AutoNation Inc., increasing his stake in the nation’s largest auto retailer to roughly 33 percent, according to a Securities and Exchange Commission filing Friday.

In a Form 4 filed with the SEC, Lampert reported he bought the shares on Wednesday for $15.40 to $15.55 apiece. According to a Schedule 13D filing submitted on the same day, Lampert said his stake now totals 60.7 million shares.
