Hundreds file past Georgian billionaire’s coffin

Hundreds of Georgians filed past the flower-strewn coffin of flamboyant billionaire Badri Patarkatsishvili on Tuesday at his eccentric Soviet-era residence overlooking the capital Tbilisi.

His residence is a bizarre Soviet structure that formerly hosted wedding ceremonies and has been nicknamed “The Devil’s Tower” by Tbilisi residents. A large portrait of Patarkatsishvili decorated the building’s bell-tower on Tuesday
