Roman Abramovich set for Chelsea clear-out

Chelsea’s billionaire owner Roman Abramovich is likely to order a major summer clear-out at Stamford Bridge - even if the club manage to secure one of the two remaining prizes left of their season.As many as 10 players could depart Chelsea as Abramovich wields the axe after a troubled season both on and off the pitch. And if manager Avram Grant manages to stay at the helm despite mounting pressure over his position following defeats in both domestic Cup competitions, it is likely that Abramovich and chief executive Peter Kenyon will lead the player exodus.
