Tracked down: The playboy ex-boyfriend of Martine who vanished after she was found murdered

The Arab playboy who fled to Yemen after his ex-girlfriend was murdered in London has come out of hiding to hire a lawyer, it emerged last night.

Farooq Abdulhak’s new attorney insists the 21-year-old billionaire’s son has no case to answer over the death of Martine Vik Magnussen, whose body was found in the basement of his apartment block. 

Abdulhak, who enjoyed his western lifestyle of drinking and parties in London, apparently struggled to make himself understood during his meeting with the Arabic-speaking attorney in Yemen’s capital, Sana’a.
