Billionaire Frere spends 2.2 billion building new stake

Financial Times reported today, that  Albert Frère, the billionaire financier, have snapped up a total of five per cent of Spanish utility Iberdrola.  The €2.2bn purchase calls into question the future of Spain’s biggest electricity company. Mr Frère is often seen as a catalyst for change in the businesses that he targets.
